Abstract Submission Guidelines

 

Important Notes :

  1. The Committee invites authors to submit abstracts in the areas of laboratory medicine for poster presentation at 2019 Annual Scientific Meeting of College of Pathologists, AMM.
  2. The presenting author may not be the first author.
  3. All presenting authors must be registered for the meeting before abstract submission.
  4. Each presenting author may submit more than one abstract (maximum three abstracts).
  5. Abstracts that have been previously published or presented at any international or national meetings will not be considered for poster competition.
  6. The Committee reserves the right to decide on the acceptance of abstracts for presentation.
  7. Abstracts must be submitted in soft copy to cpath2019@gmail.com  by 1 May 2019.

  9. Accepted abstracts will be notified to the presenting authors by 31 May 2019.

 

Abstract Preparation Guidelines :

  1. Abstracts must be written in English.
  2. Abstracts must contain original data and meet international ethical standards.
  3. Abstracts must be prepared in Microsoft Word format with Calibri font (size 10), typed single-spaced and margin justified, using the Abstract Form available at https://cpath2019.wordpress.com/
  4. Graphs, tables, figures, diagrams and illustrations cannot be included in the abstract.
  5. Abstract should state the main study objectives, basic methodology, main findings (giving specific data and their statistical significance, if possible), and the principal conclusions.  Emphasize new findings and important aspects of the study.
  6. Abstract must not be more than 300 words (excluding title, authors, addresses and keywords), and prepared by adopting the following structured format:

  • Materials and Methods
  • Results and Discussion
  • Conclusions
Case Report :

  • Introduction
  • Case Presentation
  • Investigations (if relevant)
  • Differential Diagnosis (if relevant)
  • Management
  • Outcome
  • Discussion
  • Conclusions/Learning Points
